ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect, Customer Data & MarTech to lead the strategy, architecture, and integration of enterprise customer data and marketing technology platforms. This highly visible role will drive the design of scalable, modern customer data ecosystems that enable personalization, customer engagement, analytics, and enterprise decision-making while partnering with cross-functional business and technology leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define enterprise solution architectures for Customer Data Platforms, Customer Master Data, Customer 360, marketing automation, personalization, and customer engagement ecosystems.

Establish target-state architecture across Customer Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, and Customer Master Data solutions with clearly defined ownership of customer mastering, activation, and analytics.

Design scalable integration strategies connecting MarTech platforms, AdTech technologies, data platforms, CMS and DAM solutions, and enterprise analytics environments.

Develop enterprise identity resolution strategies, customer identity governance, and consent management capabilities while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and internal data governance standards.

Architect real-time and batch decisioning frameworks that support customer personalization, experimentation, and machine learning-driven engagement.

Define enterprise standards for customer data movement, identity management, customer mastering, and content governance across platforms.

Enable first-party audience activation across owned digital channels and media platforms to support targeting, personalization, and customer engagement initiatives.

Evaluate enterprise technology platforms, lead build-versus-buy assessments, perform vendor architecture evaluations, and optimize platform utilization and cost.

Research emerging technologies across MarTech, AdTech, Artificial Intelligence, and analytics, recommending innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Serve as the architecture authority for customer data and marketing technology solutions, ensuring scalability, security, compliance, resiliency, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Information Technology, Data Science, and external technology partners to develop strategic roadmaps and deliver reusable enterprise capabilities.

Maintain regular in-office attendance and adhere to company policies and professional standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Master's degree preferred.

Eight or more years of experience in customer data, data engineering, or marketing technology.

Minimum of three years of experience architecting enterprise MarTech solutions supporting personalization and customer engagement.

Extensive experience with customer data, clickstream analytics, identity resolution, customer segmentation, and audience activation.

Deep expertise with Customer Data Platforms, Customer Master Data, CRM, loyalty platforms, and Customer 360 solutions.

Experience designing first-party, hybrid, and third-party identity resolution strategies.

Experience implementing privacy, consent management, and enterprise data governance frameworks.

Experience designing architectures supporting personalization, loyalty, attribution, machine learning decisioning, and closed-loop measurement.

Hands-on experience integrating marketing automation platforms with customer data and analytics ecosystems.

Experience spanning customer data, personalization, analytics, customer engagement, and audience activation technologies.

Experience integrating content management and digital asset management platforms into enterprise marketing ecosystems.

Experience supporting first-party audience activation and customer engagement strategies.

Experience evaluating enterprise technology vendors and conducting architecture assessments.

Experience designing high-volume batch and streaming data ingestion solutions.

Experience partnering with Data Science teams to operationalize machine learning models.

Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies is preferred.
