Performs highly complex senior-level computer systems analysis work. Work involves planning and analyzing user requirements procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve Applications Solutions AS systems. Work is performed under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Maintains a reliable predictable work schedule. May provide guidance or oversee the work of others. May be called upon to work outside of normal business hours to complete urgent assignments or troubleshoot critical issues. YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO -Perform analyses on existing and new application solutions as assigned. -Document analyses using approved software development life cyclesmethodologies including waterfall and hybrid blend of waterfall and agile tools and techniques to address automation needs for existing andor new applications solutions within AS responsibility. -Lead and facilitate meetings with both business customers and technical staff at varied organization levels and the ability to set meeting goals and objectives agendas gather and document business requirements in shell statements and coordinate documented requirements by leaders of both businessprogram and IT. -Conduct joint application design sessions with customers and IT staff to define business requirements and develop software systems requirements. -Communicate with users to determine requirements of new programssystems or modifications to existing programssystems. -Prepare preliminary and detailed designs process models flowcharts data mapping and other documentation for present and proposed business processes and automated systems to verify design logic and processes. -May include training presentations or system demonstrations. -Report work progress risks and issues to manager and leadership -Assist in the diagnosis of problems associated with automated applications and writes detailed specifications for developing or correcting software for handling complex processes to improve system performance andor accuracy. -Ensure compliance with all Federal State and agency laws rules policies and procedures including IT Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs that govern TWC IT. -Contribute to teamwork and communicate effectively. -Promote an image of IT excellence. -Perform other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations. YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH -Experience as a systems analyst or a bachelors degree preferably in a technical or analytical field and three years of experience as a systems analyst. -Experience conducting fitgap sessions performing system configuration conducting testing including UAT and developing training documentation. -Experience and skill preparing requirements documentation such as business requirements in shell statement format requirements traceability matrix to verify all requirements are included in design documents created by developers write test cases andor review test cases created by testers quality assurance staff andor end users Ability to document architectural diagrams flowcharts database specifications data flow data migration rules data warehouse interface rules logical workflow charts and specifications. -Skills in developing creative and workable solutions to complex problems. -Knowledge of SDLC waterfall hybrid a blend of waterfall and agile principles and practices. Currently TWC uses waterfall and hybrid not pure agile development approach. -Ability to document business requirements in a shell format is a higher priority that writing use cases. -Proactive and detail-oriented able to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks -Skill planning and organizing work to meet deadlines. -Demonstrated experience in system analysis structured query language SQL problem solving and design work. -Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products Outlook Word Excel Visio and PowerPoint.
