Job Title: Solution Designer – Telecom Billing

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer – Telecom Billing to lead end-to-end solution design for enterprise billing projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Development teams to translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions. The role requires expertise in telecom billing platforms, business analysis, solution design, and customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Development teams to design end-to-end business and technical solutions.
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and analyze business needs with stakeholders.
• Perform FIT/GAP analysis and recommend optimal solutions based on business requirements.
• Document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Design functional and technical solutions, including customizations, integrations, and system workflows.
• Present solution demonstrations and obtain customer sign-off throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support end-to-end solution testing in collaboration with development teams and business users.
• Analyze data, support data conversion and migration activities, and design interfaces and reporting solutions.
• Lead business discussions and provide solution recommendations aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage multiple project tasks while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in solution design, business analysis, and requirements gathering.
• Experience with Telecom Billing Systems such as CSG, Amdocs, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of BSS/OSS architectures and telecom business processes.
• Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation.
• Knowledge of system integrations, data migration, interfaces, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telecom transformation or billing implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story management.
• Experience conducting customer workshops, solution demonstrations, and acceptance testing.
• Understanding of enterprise application integration and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Solution Designer, Business Analyst, or similar client-facing role in telecom billing projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
