Bethesda, MD | Remote | 12-month contract

Job Summary:

Seeking for an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, resilient, and high-performance technology solutions that support the transformation of enterprise product platforms. This role is essential in shaping our future-state architecture and collaborating with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Core Work Activities:

• Define and deliver technology architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps.
• Establish governance frameworks for managing enterprise technology platforms.
• Conduct technology lifecycle assessments and feasibility studies.
• Develop enterprise architecture methodologies, patterns, and standards.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and Project Managers.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen architectural and technical leadership capabilities.

Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with large-scale digital transformations.
• Proven ability to create architectural artifacts and define APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in cloud deployment topologies and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in the Hospitality or Travel industry.
• Experience with Pricing and Revenue Management capabilities.
• Understanding of global data protection and privacy regulations.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
• Hands-on programming experience with asynchronous and functional programming paradigms.
