Solid Works Designer <\/span><\/b><\/span>

Location:<\/span><\/b> In -person (Ohio)<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

Salary:<\/span><\/b> $90,000 – $110,000 per year<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

We are seeking an <\/span>experienced Solid Works Designer<\/span><\/b> to design automation machines and special metalworking machinery (including chamfering machines) from concept to completion, as well as modify existing equipment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/div>

<\/p>
Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/div>
•  Design complete automation work cells and custom metalworking machines utilizing CNC lathes and mills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Perform design calculations (loads, torque, stress, deflection, etc.) to ensure structural integrity.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Create new designs, design modifications, and layouts.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Collaborate with customers on quoting and project management.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Provide sales support as needed.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>
You will enjoy full visibility of your projects, as all design, manufacturing, assembly, programming, and wiring is completed in -house.<\/span>
<\/span><\/div>

<\/p>
Requirements:<\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/div>
•  Minimum <\/span>10 years<\/span><\/b> of SolidWorks experience (required).<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Strong mechanical design background in machine elements, weldments, sheet metal, and automation systems.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Experience in a manufacturing environment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Proven ability to develop creative solutions and implement new technologies.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
