Job Posting

Duties include collecting refuse, brush and debris and transporting it to the City landfill or approved Material Recycle Center. Duties will require working outdoors under a variety of weather conditions and typically will require lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with the assistance of other employees. A high school diploma or equivalent with one year relevant experience, and at least six months recent experience driving any vehicle that requires a Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) to operate. Must currently possess a Class A or B CDL; and, have formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to communicate in English at a level necessary for successful job performance, such as in emergencies or other situations in which workers must speak a common language to promote safety. Normal schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. four days per week.
