Soldering Technician
Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join a growing electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong fine soldering skills who takes pride in precision work. You will play a key role in assembling high-quality electronic components that ensure product reliability and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components, including through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) parts
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Inspect solder joints using visual inspection and magnification tools
- Rework and repair assemblies as needed to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
- Operate equipment such as reflow ovens and wave soldering machines when required
- Work closely with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
What We’re Looking For
- Previous soldering experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with fine/pitch soldering and small, delicate components is a strong plus
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
