Through technical expertise, specification support and high-quality products, we help customers achieve compliant, sustainable and commercially successful roofing and renewable energy projects.Solar Specifications Manager As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking a Solar Specification Manager to drive the expansion of our solar offering. This role combines specification sales, technical project support and business development, with a focus on increasing solar sales whilst creating opportunities to promote AccuRoofs waterproofing and roofing systems.What you will be doing:• Act as the primary commercial contact for solar opportunities generated through the specification team.• Support Specification Managers with technical and commercial solar enquiries.• Work alongside Specification Managers to secure specifications and convert projects into orders.• Develop relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors to position AccuRoof as a preferred solar and roofing solutions partner.• Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, developers, roofing contractors and asset managers.• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target market sectors.• Promote AccuRoofs solar solutions through customer meetings, presentations, CPDs and project consultations.• Drive early-stage engagement with project stakeholders to maximise specification opportunities.• Identify opportunities to cross-sell waterproofing and roofing systems alongside solar projects.• Support quotations, commercial proposals, tender submissions and project presentations.• Maintain and manage a healthy pipeline of specification and sales opportunities.• Work collaboratively with technical, commercial and specification teams to maximise project conversion.• Monitor market activity, competitor developments and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.• Maintain accurate CRM records, project tracking and forecasting.• Deliver agreed sales, specification and profitability targets.What you will bring:• Experience within solar PV, roofing, waterproofing or construction product sales.• Proven track record in specification sales and business development.• Understanding of project-led sales within the construction industry.• Experience working with main contractors, consultants and roofing contractors.• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Ability to influence decision-makers and develop long-term customer relationships.• Strong organisational and project management capabilities.• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.• Competent user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.• Full UK driving licenceWhat we offer:• Competitive salary.• Performance-related bonus scheme.• Company car or car allowance.• Pension scheme.• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.• Ongoing professional development and training.• Career progression opportunities within a growing and ambitious business.• Supportive and collaborative working environment.At SIG, we recognise the value our employees bring.
