Role Description:

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Site Surveyor based in Central and Southern Illinois, with some remote work flexibility. The Site Surveyor will be responsible for conducting site assessments, taking detailed site measurements, analyzing property layouts, and preparing technical documentation to support solar installation projects. Additional responsibilities include using professional tools to assess site-specific conditions and collaborating with the operations team to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.


Qualifications:

- Proficiency in conducting site surveys and detailed measurements for solar installations

- Experience with technical tools and software such as CAD or GIS to prepare accurate site layouts

- Strong organizational and analytical skills for documenting site details and ensuring project compliance

- Knowledge of safety standards and local regulations relevant to solar energy installations

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients

- Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel to project sites within the Central and Southern Illinois area

- Familiarity with solar energy systems or renewable energy is preferred

- Relevant certifications or training in surveying or renewable energy are a plus
