This role involves installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial rooftops, collaborating with project leads and electricians to complete installations.
Working conditions include climbing ladders and rooftops of various heights and surfaces, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and accessing confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces. The candidate must frequently lift up to 60 pounds, with assistance for up to 110 pounds, and use fine motor skills for hand functions.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, being 18+ years old, valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and passing drug and background screenings.
Preferred qualifications include customer service experience, knowledge of electrical and structural systems, NEC or NABCEP certification, and background in solar, military, roofing, electrical, or construction fields, or trade school education.
