Solar Journeyman Electrician

The Solar Journeyman Electrician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and commissions electrical systems for commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and local codes. They lead and support crew members, interpret blueprints, and maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of electrical experience, including 3+ years in solar projects
• Active Journeyman Electrician license
• Experience with solar PV systems and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

• NFPA 70E certification
• Understanding of electrical theory
• QEW qualification

Education includes a high school diploma and completion of an electrician apprenticeship or equivalent experience. All candidates must pass a pre-employment physical.
