Software Quality Engineer, Vision Products Software

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test coverage for hardware and software features. This includes authoring test cases, identifying regressions, and driving bugs to resolution through clear, concise reporting. You'll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate functionality, performance, and stability across product areas. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you'll be interfacing with development, QA, and program teams. This role demands a highly technical and detail-oriented mindset, along with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for product quality.Represent the team in sponsor reviews and leadership forums, providing clear updates and addressing questions. Own functional testing across locales, defining test scope, priorities, and execution plans. Documenting and tracking issues, collaborating with development teams, and monitoring quality metrics throughout the product development lifecycle. Drive automation and reporting to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and visibility of test results.Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 3 or more years experience testing applications. Strong hands on experience with QA methodologies, or prior QA experience. Confirmed bug detection and bug isolation skills. Outstanding communication skills, for collaborating across many participating teams. Analytical, disciplined and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward. Ability to adapt in a high-paced and informal environment. Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering.Proficient in Python or Swift with hands-on automation development in Xcode, emphasizing UI validation and real world device use cases. Demonstrated experience leveraging Generative AI to create and optimize testing products and automation. 1+ years experience automating in Swift and/or Python. QA experience in AR/VR systems and hardware & software integration products.
