Software QA Engineer

TabaPay is looking for a Software QA and Testing engineer to help test new instant payment solutions and effectively manage testing requirements. This position requires a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with a variety of testing techniques, strong debugging, written and organizational skills, and ideally automation experience. The ideal candidate is hands on, self -motivated, and a strong team player.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

You will work closely with TabaPay’s product and engineering teams in a fast -paced dynamic environment to optimize the successful delivery of innovative payment solutions. Responsibilities include:<\/span>
<\/p>

• Develop test strategies for verification and commercial launch of product solutions<\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>
  • Design, develop and deploy test plans, test frameworks and test automation software<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
    • Create end -to -end test cases and perform E2E testing<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      • Triage software performance issues and failures effectively<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
        • Design and execute experiments to identify root cause defects and verify fixes<\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>
          • Communicate directly with customers to understand qualification processes and test plans<\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>
            • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues<\/span>
              <\/li><\/ul>
              • Create automation infrastructure and test automation<\/span>
                <\/li><\/ul>
                • Promote coding conventions and standards for code re -usability and cleanliness<\/span>
                  <\/li><\/ul>
                  • Conduct code reviews for improved code quality and optimization<\/span>
                    <\/li><\/ul>
                    • Debug test cases that fail in regression and/or demo<\/span>
                      <\/li><\/ul>
                      • Participate in design specification, incident management and technical documentation reviews<\/span>
                        <\/li><\/ul>
                        • Develop and distribute professional test results and status reports<\/span>
                          <\/li><\/ul>

                          Requirements<\/h3>

                          Basic Qualifications<\/b><\/span>
                          <\/p>

                          • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.<\/span>
                            <\/li><\/ul>
                            • 3+ years of experience as a test/QA engineer or related work experience<\/span>
                              <\/li><\/ul>
                              • 3+ years of experience developing test plans and test cases<\/span>
                                <\/li><\/ul>
                                • 3+ years of web -based test management experience using two or more of the following tools: Team Foundation Server, GIT, FireBug, JAWS, XML, SoapUI, API<\/span>
                                  <\/li><\/ul>
                                  • 2+ years of hands -on experience with automation systems and unit testing<\/span>
                                    <\/li><\/ul>
                                    • 2+ years of programming experience, preferably with Python or Java<\/span>
                                      <\/li><\/ul>
                                      • Strong SQL (Standard Query Language) skills<\/span>
                                        <\/li><\/ul>
                                        • Proficiency with Test Automation tools such as Selenium or QTP<\/span>
                                          <\/li><\/ul>
                                          • Expert level debugging skills<\/span>
                                            <\/li><\/ul>
                                            • Ability to learn new technologies quickly<\/span>
                                              <\/li><\/ul>
                                              • Ability to dig deeper into test failures and work with developers to identify root causes<\/span>
                                                <\/li><\/ul>
                                                • Excellent Team player with strong collaboration skills<\/span>
                                                  <\/li><\/ul>
                                                  • Outstanding analytical and problem -solving skills<\/span>
                                                    <\/li><\/ul>
                                                    • Ability to accurately assess project risks, and communicate/escalate appropriately<\/span>

                                                      Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/b>
                                                      <\/p>

                                                      • Graduated from top tier university<\/span>
                                                        <\/li><\/ul>
                                                        • 5+ years of experience as a test/QA engineer or related work experience<\/span>
                                                          <\/li><\/ul>
                                                          • Expert level experience with automated test generation<\/span>
                                                            <\/li><\/ul>
                                                            • Experience in the payments industry<\/span>
                                                              <\/li><\/ul>
                                                              • Java, Javascript, or Golang programming experience<\/span>
                                                                <\/li><\/ul>
                                                                • Solid understanding of RESTful API structures<\/span>

                                                                  The pay range for this position is $85,000 -$95,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job -related knowledge, skills, and experience.  <\/span>In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
