Role Description: The Software Engineering - Application Developer must have 4+ years of experience. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Design and Implement Communications Components, Applications and Services • Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams • Design components, services, and relevant data models • Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software. • Work on initiatives building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development. • Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems. • Help engineers and build solutions which are required for provisioning and operating an Internet service provider.
Basic Qualifications: • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. • 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience. • Experience programming with at least one software programming language. • Experience managing Java based SDKs, AWS based development, API design, JSON.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in integrating Financial Application and Accounting solutions (e.g. Oracle). • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or any related field
