Description:
This job works independently on elements of projects/processes within the Software Engineering area by applying intermediate/practical knowledge and area best practices to meet organizational standards of quality and excellence.
- Executes defined components of technology or product projects by translating functional requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational standards.
- Implements routine enhancements and minor modifications to existing systems, applying established procedures and best practices to improve functionality, security, or performance.
- Troubleshoots and resolves identifiable, routine issues by analyzing logs, reproducing problems, and applying documented solutions, including security patches and configuration adjustments.
- Supports system maintenance activities such as applying updates, patches, and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to change management processes.
- Provides technical input during project planning and reviews by contributing insights on system design, technical feasibility, and potential risks, supporting the development of high-quality requirements documents and technical artifacts.
- Assists in documenting technical procedures, best practices, and standards to promote consistency, knowledge sharing, and process improvement within the team.
- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to review project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards, technical specifications, and organizational requirements.
- Utilizes experience and a comprehensive understanding of area processes and tools to make minor adjustments or enhancements to resolve identifiable issues. May manage smaller project/initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within the Software Engineering area.
