GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Software Engineer Level 2 will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software applications for DART's technology ecosystem. This role requires expertise in .NET development, cloud computing, microservices, and modern software architecture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Development & Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
- Assist in implementing microservices architecture for cloud and on-premise applications.
Legacy System Modernization:
- Support and enhance legacy applications while transitioning to modern .NET technology stacks.
Technical Contributions:
- Collaborate with the team to define API designs, technical roadmaps, and software best practices.
Cloud & DevOps:
- Assist in deploying applications in Microsoft Azure, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cl/CD pipelines.
Agile & Continuous Integration:
- Follow Agile development cycles, participate in code reviews, and support continuous integration (Cl/CD).
Code Quality & Testing:
- Perform unit testing, regression testing, and debugging to ensure code reliability.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, UX designers, and DevOps teams to deliver projects on time.
Technical Learning & Growth:
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering.
Incident Management & Support:
- Participate in an on-call rotation for troubleshooting application issues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in C# .NET Core development.
5 years of experience with microservices architectures (on-premise and cloud-based).
Familiarity with front-end development using Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Kendo UI.
Experience with Azure cloud solutions, Docker/Containers, and Cl/CD pipelines.
Understanding of SOLID principles, git version control, and Agile development.
Experience with Sitefinity CMS is a plus.
Knowledge of full SDLC processes, including DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to debug and optimize code.
Good communication skills for working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (laC).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
Exposure to machine learning, Al, or loT solutions is a plus..
