Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of Flight Management Systems (FMS) software development experience (mandatory).
• Strong proficiency in C and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong software architecture and design skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Embedded systems development.
• Multi-core/Multi-threaded programming.
• DO-178C software lifecycle experience.
• Software Verification & Validation using C.
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) knowledge.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test Flight Management System software.
• Develop core software architecture and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform code reviews, and support software integration/testing.
