Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a key member in designing and developing our complex Risk platform on the Zero Trust Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, software engineering, and a passion for innovation and excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with GCP Services, including Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL
- Strong SQL skills with proven ability to navigate and extract data from legacy relational databases such as DB2
- Proficiency in Java 8 and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
- Experience with at least one modern front-end JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and orchestration of the Risk platform on GCP
- Optimize user experience by ensuring seamless URL management and robust analytics integration
- Develop and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous development and integration
- Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews
- Partner closely with product owners and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
