Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) Leadership
Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the ServiceNow VR module
Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for less experienced engineers
Application Design & Development
Design, build, configure, unit test, document, and maintain ServiceNow applications
Develop workflows, scripts, and low-code / out-of-the-box solutions to automate processes
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards
Platform & Integration Management
Manage API integrations with non-ServiceNow systems (e.g., Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Blackduck, Checkmarx)
Partner with platform engineering, production support, and architecture teams
Support production environments as an L3 support resource
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, risk management, and governance requirements
Support and implement key enterprise risk initiatives
Collaboration & Delivery
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, technical governance, architects, and developers
Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver solutions within an Agile framework
Manage deployments and releases with enterprise platform management teams
Maintain application documentation in Confluence

Specialty software engineering experience
working with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Web technologies: JavaScript (ES5+), HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL
Certifications
ServiceNow System Administrator (required)
ServiceNow Application Developer (required within 6 months of hire)
Technical Skills
Strong scripting and configuration experience in ServiceNow
Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards
Experience with modern development practices, testing, and CI/CD concepts
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
