Vendor Experience Team is looking for a dynamic engineer to join our agentic experiences team for Selling Partners. Our mission is to deliver world-class AI-powered experiences that delights our Selling Partners. We are looking for Engineers with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems on an unprecedented scale. As part of the team, you will have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers, and build solutions that will achieve our vision of world-class AI-powered experiences. Successful candidates will be innovative, flexible, self-directed, and able to design and write high-performance, reliable, maintainable code. They must also be able to design and develop innovative GenAI powered agentic solutions to accelerate time to market. The ability to function at a very high level in a fast-paced environment along with a team of very talented engineers is essential. Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative agentic products and services to market. - Design and build agentic systems enabling autonomous agents that can execute multi-step workflows on behalf of Selling Partners. - Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. - Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use. - Build visualization experiences that allow Selling Partners to interact with and explore LLM-generated insights. - Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience - 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
