Job Title: Software Development Engineer III (.NET/C# Azure)

Duration: 1‑Year Contract‑to‑Hire

Location: 5 days onsite in Greenwood Village, CO or Omaha, NE

Required Pay Scale: 75-80/hr W2

• Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*

Job Summary:

This engineer will serve as a senior Azure/.NET developer within a scrum team, owning cloud application development, API builds, deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. The role requires strong hands‑on experience building .NET/C# applications in Azure, ensuring security, resiliency, and compliance while supporting a major modernization initiative. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross‑team collaboration.

Project Details:

EFTPS Modernization Enterprise‑level cloud transformation effort Heavy Azure development, API modernization, security hardening, and cloud deployment automation Full stack development across .NET/C#, Angular/React, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and CI/CD pipelines High‑visibility program with strict compliance and security requirements

Must Haves

• 5+ years building and deploying .NET/C# applications into Azure
• Full‑stack capability (C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, TypeScript, Angular/React)
• Strong Azure experience: App Services, API Management, Key Vault, Monitor, App Insights, Azure SQL
• Experience with Visual Studio, Docker, JSON, REST, OIDC, SAML
• CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git
• Strong understanding of Azure security best practices (IAM, encryption, scanning, access controls)
• Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills
• Must be actively building cloud applications today - not legacy/on‑prem only

Desired Skills

• Terraform or other IaC tools
• Fortify, Sonatype, or similar security scanning tools
• FedRAMP, FISMA, or Zero Trust Architecture familiarity
• Experience supporting large enterprise modernization programs
