Key job responsibilities * You will develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines. * You will work with multiple cross functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate the infrastructure you build * You will develop and mentor junior and new team members. * You will engineer and build a cloud service that is reliable and available to provide connectivity for our customers * You will work on features that enhance the quality of service and security for our customers. * You will collaborate and work on initiatives across multiple teams to build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure and set best practices for software development processes. You'll collaborate closely with embedded software, network operations, security, and platform teams to keep every terminal secure, connected, and current. About the team The CT Overlay team builds the services that bring Kuiper's customer terminal antennas to life. We own device identity, configuration management, firmware delivery, fleet orchestration, and location services - the software layer that sits manages the fleet of physical hardware and their management on the network. Our systems operate at constellation scale, managing tens of thousands of terminals across multiple regions with strict security and availability requirements. We move fast, ship often, and own what we build end-to-end - from design through production operations. If you like solving real distributed systems problems with immediate customer impact, this is the team. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
