Description We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Seattle, WA At Amazon, security is job zero. Amazon Security Platform Engineering provides the tools that allow Amazon to secure the cloud, our employees, and our customers. Security is critical to Amazon's customer trust. The Amazon Security Platform Engineering team provides our security professionals the tools they need to succeed. We work across Amazon, including AWS, retail, and subsidiary business units. In support of our partners, you'll have opportunities to learn about security response and detection while building and maintaining our team's software. We build platforms and services to develop capabilities for security engineers to automate their work. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
