Job Summary: Seeking a C++ Software Developer to support mission-critical Department of Defense initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced engineering programs in a collaborative environment focused on innovation, technical excellence, and real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and sustain software applications supporting defense-related programs
• Work closely with Software Development Leads to improve process efficiency, integration, standardization, and code reuse
• Manage and complete assigned development tasks within a ticketing system environment
• Collaborate within version control and configuration management frameworks
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities including team meetings, sprint reviews, and code demonstrations
• Contribute to software quality initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts
• Utilize modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows where applicable

• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ (C++11/14/17 preferred)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Embedded systems development experience preferred
• Understanding of RTOS environments, hardware/software interfaces, and low-level C++ development
• Familiarity with communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
• Experience working within Linux environments including shell scripting and application builds
