We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a large-scale Agile/SAFe development team supporting innovative, cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions in a highly regulated environment. This role focuses on designing and developing microservices-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, DevSecOps, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications
• Collaborate with Agile/SAFe teams, architects, and product owners
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
• Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and messaging platforms
• Support troubleshooting, system performance tuning, and continuous improvements
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and Agile ceremonies
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2–4 years of software development experience
• Experience building microservices-based systems
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or similar technologies in Linux environments
• Understanding of APIs and distributed systems
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Skills:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Kafka or event-streaming technologies
• CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• AI/ML-enabled systems or automation platforms
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with SAFe methodology
