AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic technology team.
As a Software Developer at AmeriLux, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our business operations and growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
- Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
- Producing efficient and elegant code based on organizational requirements.
- Testing and deploying programs and applications.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
- Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
- Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects. • Potential to lead the existing software development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with databases, version control systems, and cloud platforms is a plus.
