--- Project Description ---
Staff augmentation providing administration of Oracle
Application Server and related Middleware; Oracle
Warehouse Builder; and administration and support of the
Informatica server. Management, support and migration of agency
legacy Oracle databases.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Configure, support, and maintain Oracle products such as Application Server,
Internet Directory (OID), Portal, Weblogic, Warehouse Builder on AIX 6.1 and
higher
2. Install, configure, upgrade and maintain Informatica server
3. Work with application programmers, DBAs, Data modelers and system
architects to create solutions to meet business goals. Document and track
progress on tasks.
4. Develop and participate in the adherence of standards, processes, and
procedures. Ensuring security protocols are followed in designs.
5. Perform optimization and tuning activities.
6. Plan, schedule, and perform Oracle Application Server maintenance.
7. Plan, schedule, and perform Oracle database upgrades / migrations.
8. Troubleshoot database and middleware connectivity and
access permission issues.
9. Maintain documentation related to system configuration
change and provide training and mentoring for other
administrative staff.
10. Evaluate existing and emerging technology for the purpose of
architecting efficient and scalable solutions.
11. Meet and work with end-users, as required, to define,
document and implement business requirements.
12. Maintain securty certificates for applications and data warehouse

Software Architect
Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
Expert 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

--- Required Qualifications ---
• 48 Months Experience with database administration in an AIX environment
• 48 Months Experience using IBM AIX 6.1 or higher
• 48 Months Experience following HIPAA compliance with secure data
• 84 Months Experience installing, maintaining,migrating, upgrading,
configuring and patching Oracle Application Server 1Og and 11g including
Oracle Portal and Discoverer
• 84 Months Experience installing, maintaining, upgrading, configuring and
patching Oracle Internet Directory (OID) including integration with
ActiveDirectory
• 84 Months Experience of troubleshooting Oracle Application Servers and
databases
• 24 Months Experience administering and using Oracle OBIEE; converting
Oracle Discoverer Reports to OBIEE
• WebLogic Certification as a Certified Associate
• 24 Months Experience Administering, Maintaining, Troubleshooting &
Configuring Informatica PowerCenter and maintaining ETL mappings in
Informatica PowerCenter
• 24 Months Experience upgrading and migrating Oracle databases
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
