St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Social Worker for a Team Lead position within the Palliative Care team located at the Edgewood, Kentucky location.

Shift & Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Full-time, 40 hours weekly, No Weekends!

Traveling to the Edgewood, Ft Thomas, and Florence campuses is required for this position.

Participates in development of department programs and processes. Assists with scheduling of staff and assures quality care of those patients needing palliative care social work services, while maintaining the philosophy of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Works with the Nurse Manager and Hospice/Palliative Director and other supervisors to manage the department's daily operations. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

  • Master's in Social Work (MSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed in state where work is being performed.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SW practice in health care setting. Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Kind and Length of Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of social work practice in health care.
