The Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for Building Level Social Workers.
Candidates must have strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
Job Goal: To provide social work services to eligible students and their families in multiple school
buildings to eliminate or reduce non-academic barriers to students'' academic achievement.
Qualifications:
- Master''s Degree in Social Work, School Social Work specialization preferred
- Social Work license issued by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board (LSW or LISW)
- Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Pupil Services license as a School Social Worker (preferred) and/or registration
- Experience and knowledge of current trends in social work and successful experience in public schools preferred
- Any additional qualifications, training or other credentials, as determined by the Board of Education
