A community services organization in New York City is seeking a new Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their Manhattan school-based setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 2-5 days per week
- Hours: 8:30am to 3pm
- Setting: School-based
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual, group, and family therapy for students and families in relation to the student's condition
- Making recommendations for changes in counseling service delivery
- Assisting with recommendations for Psychological Services and interdisciplinary team responsibilities
- Writing IEP goals, objectives, and progress reports for counseling services
- Completing Medicaid paperwork for IEP-mandated counseling services
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Pediatric population
- Previous experience
