Sid Jacobson JCC is seeking a warm, collaborative social worker to join our dedicated team. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful support, guidance, and connection to individuals navigating some of life’s most challenging moments — while being part of an organization deeply rooted in community, compassion, and human connection.
In this role, you will facilitate professionally led support groups, case management, and help connect participants with valuable resources and services. Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work required
LMSW or LCSW in New York State required
Experience facilitating groups and supporting individuals in healthcare, community-based preferred
Initiative to find and use community resources related to medical support, grief, mental health, and wellness services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning additional software systems as needed
This role includes two evening programs per week to ensure accessibility for participants.

Salary range: $60,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience
