Social Studies Teacher - Long-Term Substitute

Waterford Union High School is seeking a dynamic and qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our award-winning academic team for semester one of the 2026-27 school year. This is a long-term substitute position covering a semester leave of absence. Preferred candidates will have strengths teaching world and modern United States history courses.

Position Requirements:

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin DPI License in one or more of the following areas:

#1701 - Broadfield Social Studies

#1725 - History

Other certifications welcome, but not required.

Additional qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Passion for engaging, innovative, and results-driven teaching methods

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold or be able to obtain license certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
