INTERNAL POSTING Katonah -Lewisboro School District Announces the Following Anticipated Vaca ncy For the 202 6-2027 School Year Social Studies Teacher (7th Grade) Long Term Substitute Location: John Jay Middle School Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026, through January 3, 2027 A successful candidate should: • Possess a current NYS Social Studies 7 -12 Certification. • Demonstrate proficiency in NYS standards. • Demonstrate strong skills in curriculum and instruction. • Possess strong content knowledge in high school courses such as Economics, US History, and Global Studies. Salary : Long -term substitute teachers work 30 days or more but less than five months and are compensated $110/day for the first 30 days; on the 31st day (assuming the prior 30 days were consecutive workdays) the daily rate is increased to $3 21.38, retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
