• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $58.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours), 8:00 16:30

Job Summary

The client facility is a specialty hospital engaging in care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients and is a comprehensive stroke center. The clinician in this role needs to have prior hospital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients within a comprehensive stroke center setting
• Perform inpatient/acute care social work services
• Provide case management support
• Provide weekend coverage: minimum 2 weekend days per month (typically not scheduled together 1 Saturday per month and 1 Sunday per month, but not in the same weekend)
• Float to other campuses (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard) if census is low

Required Skills

• Epic experience required
• Inpatient/Acute Care experience
• Case Management experience
• Ability to float to other campuses as needed
• Willingness to provide weekend coverage as required

Education Requirements

• LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure required
• BLS certification required
• LSWAIC certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior hospital experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Specialty hospital setting care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients; comprehensive stroke center
• Floating: travelers may be floated to other campuses if census is low (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard)
• Weekend coverage required: minimum 2 weekend days per month (typically 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month, not in the same weekend)

• Permanent candidates from any facility other than the client facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
