II. Position Summary
The primary duties of this position are to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facilitys Social Service department according to federal, state, and local guidelines.
III. Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the facilitys residents and work with the staff members to ensure the residents needs are maintained on an individual basis. • Experienced in the needs of the SNFLTC residents and MDS 3.0 is a must. • BSW preferred but not required unless state regulations require a BSW. • The right candidate will also have a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in hospital nursing care facility or other related medical facility. • Must be fully vaccinated
