The future is battery-powered - so help us tell this story! Join our team in Southern California and help share the Makita Advantage to pro contractors and users of all kinds through our growing social media channels.
As the Social Media Specialist for Makita U.S.A you will be at the front lines of our brand's online presence. In order to increase awareness and drive demand, you will work with our growing team to post daily social media content across all major platforms as well as monitor comments, direct messages, and customer service-related questions, help identify key trends, and keep tabs on trending topics in the industry. You'll also assist our content creation team on photo and video shoots and ideate campaign strategies for current and new products.
Makita U.S.A.'s social media channels are one of the main points of contact with our brand's end user, so it is important we use these platforms to creatively and strategically communicate the Makita Advantage. This role is best suited for someone who is well-versed in social media functions and commenting etiquette, as well as scheduling- and performance-tracking software.
Across categories, Makita tools and equipment have leading power and performance but with less noise, lower vibration, reduced weight and superior ergonomics. This combination of performance and comfort is unique in the category, giving users of all types - from pro contractors to DIYers - a complete solution that helps get work done faster and more efficiently.
