    Role Type 6 Months Contract
    Location: US Hybrid (2-3 days of travel to client office in East Hannover, NJ)

    Role Description:
    The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media programs with specific focus on video content operations, and digital engagement initiatives that support pharmaceutical commercial objectives. The individual will work closely with Brand Marketing, Commercial Operations, Creative Services, Video Production Teams, Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR), and external agencies to develop engaging video experiences that drive awareness, engagement, education, and commercial effectiveness across healthcare professional (HCP) and patient audiences.
    You will be responsible for:
    Social Media Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Create annual and quarterly social media roadmaps supporting product launches, disease awareness initiatives, congresses, and ongoing brand campaigns.
  • Identify emerging digital trends, platforms, and engagement opportunities within the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Recommend channel-specific strategies across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Campaign Management & Execution
  • Manage end-to-end social media campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Coordinate content calendars, publishing schedules, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure timely deployment of approved content across channels.
  • Support omnichannel marketing initiatives by integrating social media with email, websites, CRM, and digital engagement programs.
  • Content Operations & Governance
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and medical teams to develop compliant social media content.
  • Ensure all content undergoes MLR review and approval processes.
  • Maintain social media asset libraries, templates, and content repositories.
  • Manage agency partners and content production vendors.
  • Analytics & Performance Measurement
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for social media programs.
  • Monitor campaign performance using social listening and analytics tools.
  • Develop dashboards and performance reports for brand and commercial leadership.
  • Generate actionable insights to improve engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
  • Social Listening & Market Intelligence
  • Leverage social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Identify emerging conversations, stakeholder needs, and market opportunities.
  • Deliver insights that support commercial strategy and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Brand Teams, Commercial Operations, Omnichannel Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Analytics teams.
  • Collaborate with agencies and platform vendors to execute campaigns efficiently.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and best practice adoption across markets.
  • About you:
    Desired Profile (Experience, Key Skills)
  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or commercial operations.
  • 2+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical promotional regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
