Social Media Manager / Content Creation Specialist - Temp to Perm

We are seeking a Social Media Manager / Content Creation Specialist in NYC for a temp-to-perm role with a $45/hr pay rate.

Responsibilities include producing episodic videos and podcasts, designing promotional graphics, photographing and styling on-camera talent, conceptualizing content and merchandise (especially for non-profits), and collaborating with writers and legal teams to create media and litigation content.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience working with high-profile and controversial figures/companies
• Ability to set aside personal and political beliefs
• Professional, team-oriented demeanor
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with last-minute changes
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and content strategies
• Proven skill in creating engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Basic TikTok editing skills for quick video turnaround
• Ability to shoot photo/video content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere)
• Knowledge of Squarespace and WordPress preferred
• Highly organized and meticulous
