  • Provide comprehensive live matchday coverage, telling compelling stories before, during, and after each match.
  • Monitor social media trends, fan conversations, and platform updates to identify opportunities for timely, creative, and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Creative, Soccer Operations, and Corporate Partnerships to execute integrated campaigns and fulfill sponsored digital assets.
  • Build and engage the Club's online community by monitoring social channels, interacting with supporters, and maintaining the Club's voice and brand standards.
  • Analyze social media performance and audience insights to optimize content strategy, measure campaign success, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee social media interns while ensuring high-quality execution of day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Support additional digital marketing, content creation, and Club initiatives as assigned.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Sports Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of professional social media experience (internships and freelance experience considered).
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, platform-native content across multiple social media channels.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, audience engagement, and platform best practices.
  • Experience producing mobile-first short-form video content.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Experience using CapCut or similar mobile editing applications.
  • Strong writing and copyediting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience interpreting social media analytics and using performance data to improve content strategy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as required throughout the MLS season.
