POSITION SUMMARY:The Snack Shop Captain oversees the daily operations of the snack shop, coffee shop or deli including appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances.* Demonstrates knowledge of the entire food and beverage menu and its preparation.* Enforces safety and sanitary practices and maintenance for the entire operations.* Completes all relevant SOPs (compliance and procedural items).* Completes all relevant Systems in Place.* Exercises good judgement and makes appropriate decisions* ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent* Experience: 6 months of restaurant management experience; experience in serving and managing beer, wine and liquorKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:* Customer Service Experience Preferred* Team Building/Collaboration* Time Management* Team PlayerTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:* N/APHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, etc.INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:* Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
