The SMT Operator sets up, programs, and operates PCB assembly machinery, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens, to ensure quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities include machine setup and teardown, loading feeders, component verification, performing minor adjustments, and maintaining documentation. The role involves operating Juki pick-and-place and reflow ovens, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring a clean work environment.
Qualifications include 2+ years of SMT machine experience (training available), knowledge of solder paste printing, component identification, and quality measurement tools. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential, along with flexibility and a strong work ethic.
This position requires physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs., and working in a manufacturing PCB environment. No supervisory duties are involved. Salary ranges from $20-$30/hour, with benefits.
