The SMT Operator I role involves on-site setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes, including screen printers, reflow ovens, and SMT placement machines.
Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour with a 10% shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts. Work hours are 1st (7:00 AM-3:30 PM), 2nd (3:30 PM-11:30 PM), or 3rd (11:30 PM-7:30 AM) shifts. The position is temp-to-permanent.
Responsibilities include ensuring production targets, troubleshooting equipment, inspecting work, controlling non-conforming materials, assisting with new product introductions, and maintaining workspace cleanliness.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of manufacturing and SMT equipment experience, and preferred IPC-A-610 certification, ESD training, and knowledge of component handling. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is necessary.
