Job Overview:
Pay Range: $28hr - $33hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Requires developing job knowledge and skills on AOI and Circuit soldering.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4+ years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 1 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to follow quality, safety, and work instruction requirements.
- Ability to work in a production floor environment with appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operates and monitors Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of circuit card assemblies and printed circuit boards.
- Loads feeders and verifies part numbers and setup.
- Supports solder paste printing, pick-and-place, and reflow processes.
- Inspects boards for workmanship or obvious defects.
- Maintains production flow by responding to machine alarms and replenishing materials.
- Documents production activity accurately.
- Assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions.
- Ensures finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.
- Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations and escalates to supervision when necessary.
- Communicates with departmental contacts to provide or obtain information requiring explanation.
