Position SpecificsTeaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) Specialists guide the exploration, development, evaluation, and/or implementation of new or experimental technology initiatives that support teaching, learning, and research; support faculty in the effective integration of technology to enhance pedagogy, promote student engagement, and improve learning outcomes.ResponsibilitiesProvide consultative services to faculty, staff, and students on the effective use of emerging media technologies for teaching and learning.Develop innovative resources and instructional material in support of faculty and student scholarly pursuits.Design and maintain virtual teaching studios in Business Building.Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional tools and strategies through research‑based assessments and feedback.Explore and test new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.Evaluate proposals and work with vendors for the acquisition of products and services.Stay current with new technologies, trends, and pedagogical practices.May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management.Education & ExperienceThis position requires an Associate's Degree. Previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Demonstration of strong customer service skills, advanced problem‑solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail are essential to the success of this position.Work SchedulePosition supports remote‑synchronous classes that are held primarily in the afternoons, evenings, and on Saturdays. Schedule will be flexible based on course schedules.Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required CertificationsAssociate's Degree. No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None.Background Checks/ClearancesEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.Salary & BenefitsThe salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $74,000.00.
