Some availability during business hours is needed to attend scheduled Zoom meetings.Pay$50-75/hr (1099)SMEs serve as advisors to Interplay and play a key part of our growth by helping us build industry-leading training content to advance the facilities maintenance trade.At this time, we are looking for subject matter experts with the following expertise:Data Center InfrastructureData Center Safety and OperationsData Center MaintenanceOperation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting of CRAC UnitsYou will play a critical role on the Production Team, working with designers & developers to create and review content for skilled trades training.Why This PositionFlexible work hours, remote workUse your expertise to make an impact and provide educationCollaborative, supportive teamWhat You'll DoAdvise internal teams on industry dynamics and best practicesUse your expertise to support content development for VR simulations and eLearning videosAdvise on malfunctions for simulationsDevelop and assist in the creation of procedure guidesWrite and record voiceover scripts and screencasts for videosGenerate valid and reliable test questions/knowledge checksDevelop fault scenariosReview courses for accuracyWho You AreExtensive knowledge of the following subject matter:Data Center InfrastructureData Center Safety and OperationsData Center MaintenanceOperation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting of CRAC UnitsTeaching or training experience is preferredOrganized and communicative with the teamDesire and ability to collaborate with designers and developers and respond to queries and feedback within 1-2 business daysRequirementsExtensive knowledge of subject matterSystematic approach to troubleshootingResearch skillsTeaching, training or mentoring experience is idealComputer skills - G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)Camtasia (video tutorial and presentation software), will teachWriting skills for knowledge checks and procedure guidesAvailability during business hours to attend scheduled Zoom meetingsWe may ask you to record a video intro for the hiring team if your application looks like a potential match.
