HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components using hand tools and power equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate installation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC systems
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, EPA) preferred
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal installation and fabrication
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in sheet metal work
