Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay Rate: $55 - $60 / hour (based on experience)

As a K-12 school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in City, State, your Days Will Include:
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations to identify communication disorders and determine student eligibility for services.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
  • Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (where applicable).
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding communication supports and accommodations.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies.
Job Details
  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
  • Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
  • Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options
Successful Candidates Possess
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active or pending state SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs (or Clinical Fellowship eligibility where applicable)
  • Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
  • Note: New graduates and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
