Job Purpose:
Looking for qualified individuals for Slot Technician positions. Slot technicians troubleshoot and fix improperly functioning slot machines. Machines need to be kept in proper operating condition to avoid downtime, which may result in a loss of revenue. Technicians are also responsible for periodic maintenance and service calls. During routine inspections, slot technicians may look for potential malfunctions, such as loose wires. They may also test equipment like buttons to ensure that they are working properly. Slot Technicians may also assist customers and personnel with slot machine issues which may include answering technical questions and moving equipment around. Other duties include keeping a log of repair work and driving a company vehicle within the slot route.

Duties:

  • Install, remove, convert, and prepare games, set options and repair games
  • Install, remove, set options and repair; CVTs, safes, PT Systems, progressive systems, ATMs
  • Run and terminate Cat5e and Cat6a, Fiber
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued
  • Maintain safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Various types of cash related transactions to include payment of hand pays and jackpots
  • Properly document hand pays, jackpots, installations, MCUs, conversions and machine repair
  • Follow documentation, policies and procedures
  • Perform tasks without supervision
  • Maintain a positive image with co-workers and customers
  • Educate customers on JETT related equipment
  • Work in a team oriented environment
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2 years experience and previous cash handling experience.
  • Will train the right candidate.
  • Valid Nevada Drivers License
  • Clean/Current DMV Printout
  • Must be able to attain Gaming Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel frequently
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.


This position will require the selected applicant to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
