Overview:

3-12 Hour Shifts - Nights; and PRN opening 

 

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Sleep Center Coordinator./Polysomnography Technologist. This role supports the daily operations of the Sleep Center, ensuring that patient, physician, and employee needs are met with efficiency and excellence.

 

Under the general direction of the Sleep Lab Manager, the Sleep Center Coordinator/Polysomnography Technologiust assists with the oversight of daily operations for both the lab and clinic. This position plays a key role in operational coordination, staff support, scheduling, compliance, and quality monitoring to ensure exceptional patient care and regulatory standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

Administration and clerical 

 

  • Daytime patient scheduling 
  • Chart completeness; verifies procedure 
  • Scoring of Sleep Studies 
  • Acquisition of Sleep Studies, MSLT/MWT, and HSAT 

 

Additional duties

 

  • Coaches/educates patients
  • Works independently as well with fellow staff
  • Maintains equipment
  • Participates in peer chart review
  • Accepts assignment to different shift to maintain efficient function of department or as assigned by Manager
Qualifications:

Education: Registered or registry eligible Respiratory Therapist or Neurodiagnostic Technologist. Specialized Training in Polysomnography testing. 

 

 

License(s)/Certification(s): 

  • Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. 
  • CPR certification 
  • Hold degree in Healthcare related field
  • Registered Polysomnography Technologist by BRPT
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist by NRBC with SDS credential eligible
  • Will have one year from date of hire or transfer date to become credentialed
