Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (RN) needed for skilled nursing support for a 29‑year‑old male attending a Suffolk Day Support program. Monitoring needed during Day Support hours. Manage G‑Tube care, including medication administration and feedings per care plan. Monitor, document, and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse/agency. Collaborate with Day Support staff and family to ensure safety and quality of care.
As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee the delivery of skilled nursing careand coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure adherence to our rigorous standards. You will play a key role in implementing and supervising patient care plans while driving quality improvement initiatives.
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Status: PRN, approximately 3–5 days per week.
Qualifications:
RN license in the state of Virginia, current CPR certification, experience with G‑Tube care preferred. Previous experience with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus! Compensation $30–40 per hour.
